Are you guys ready to transition from the warm hot days to bundling up just a little. Well with New York weather, you just never know what to expect. Therefore, you might have to prepare for both. As you know fall is associated with certain colors such as burgundy, brown orange, dark green, and brown tones, but this fall doesn’t have to be those colors.
Let me introduce you to 4 fashion tips I personally use to get my outfits ready for the day especially for this upcoming fall.
1. Bright colors:
I know what you’re thinking, black is the way to go always but I promise you, with a hint of a vibrant color like a lime green, sky blue, Bright magenta or yellow to feel mellow can all boost an outfit from a basic outfit to an outfit that will make someone want to wear that same bright color another day. Even on a cloudy day with those colors, it won’t make you feel gloomy. It would make a cloudy day feel like a great day because you are the one brightening up the day.
2. Jewelry:
Jewelry plays a crucial role in enhancing every outfit, as it has the power to make a statement all on its own. Even simple jewelry pieces, like a delicate necklace with a charming pendant, can elevate an outfit, especially if you’re wearing something understated. You might be wondering why jewelry is considered essential. Well, adorning yourself with your favorite pieces and coordinating them with your outfit adds a sense of value to your overall look. It’s like adding the perfect creamer to your morning coffee – they complement each other, creating a more satisfying experience. If you’d like, I can provide some visual examples to illustrate this concept further.

3. Accessories:
Jewelry is often seen as just an accessory, but it really stands out on its own. When I talk about accessories, I mean anything fun that you add to your outfit. These could be scarves, hats, socks, bags, belts, anything mesh, pins, or anything else that you can attach. This part is all about having fun and adding items that complement your outfit. Accessories can also help highlight specific colors in your outfit. It’s the little details that can make a big impact, and when you’re out in public, people will often notice and appreciate the accessories you’re wearing.
4. Layering:
A lot of people don’t layer and if you’re someone like me I’m often really hot. But you still can layer, it just doesn’t have to be a heavy layer. It can be something as simple as a linen button down. I once put a long sleeve mesh top under a shirt and it gave my outfit texture and balance. You decide what’s best and what makes sense. Another layering that has been trendy is wearing a pleated skirt over pants. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. So just test it out and explore and have fun with it.
Another key reminder is to DRESS FOR YOU! Because when you do it feels good, your confidence will boost, you also may feel more productive. you want to wear that outfit and show others what you created. Show how you made your outfit come together like a great music playlist that you’re eager to share. There are always gonna be a few people who will negatively comment on your outfit. But That is their opinion. Today you dressed for you and yes a lot of people may not like it but if you do that’s all that matters. So walk with confidence . Sometimes those who have negative opinions are the same people who admire your creativity and braveness. I hope you choose to use one or all of the Fashion tips and that you get creative and show us who you are through your outfit.
